The Team

Founding Partners, Tony McLeod and Janes Meyer, both have a combined 30 years of production and service experience across film and TV.  Together they have worked with BBC, Netflix, Amazon, HBOMax, Warner Brothers, History Channel and Discovery.


Combined they have built up a strong team of South Africa's most skilled management, technical crew, and production personnel that supports them in their vision. 

They take pride in their ethical filmmaking practices with a hands-on approach to every project. They aim to create a cohesive and collaborative environment for every filmmaker to deliver their best work - regardless of their role.

Currently First Turn Pictures has a diverse slate of original projects in development across genres elevated horror, suspense thrillers and several book adaptations. They are open to projects on a discretionary basis.
